GingaSite.NET was originally named GingaSite.dk. Here you can read the story of this website.


GingaSite.dk was created on March 20th 2005. At first the site started out primitive with little information and a pre-made web-template as a layout. The visitor rating was low, only about 200 a month.

Shortly after the site got a new layout and more information was added. But the visitors was complaining over the bad navigation and missing sections.

Then, after almost one month of updates, GingaSite.dk changed again in August 2005. The site got a home-made layout, more information and more sections. The visitor rate exploded and in only month the site had almost 6000 visitors.

With hard work and a month of preperation, GingaSite.dk celebrated it's 10.000 page view with a new layout and as much information as could be found.

Then, in April 2006, GingaSite.dk changed name to GingaSite.NET.
The goal was now to improve the site even more, go international and conquere Europe and the world.

With nearly 20.000 visitors a month, GingaSite.NET was on it's way to become one of the largest websites concerning the work of Yoshihiro Takahashi.

In 2008, GingaSite.NET came to a sudden stop, as the webmaster got too busy with real life to handle updating, new layouts ext. However, the loyal members kept the site alive through the site's forum, GingaBoard.

Now, in August 2009, GingaSite.NET has become the largest information source as planned early in 2005. We've joined forces with passionate people who burn to keep the series and the community alive. Together with those amazing people, GingaSite.NET has grown stronger, better and more informative than ever.

GingaSite.NET has had about 35.000 visitors a month through-out the year of 2009. That is an amazing number for such a small fandom.
