How did Sniper meet Hougen?
He went to Hougen because of the rumour that he had captured Gin, whom Sniper of course wants revenge over for ruining his plans in GNG.

What did Sniper say to Gin when they meet again?
Something along the lines of:

Gin: You are still alive, you crazy corrupted dog.

Wilson disappeared early in the manga, but where?
Wilson is still in the manga – he just doesn’t have any lines.

In the anime, Sakura had to escape Ou because of Kaibutsu. But in the manga, what was the reason she left?
Terry's wife Rushi was jealous of Sakura and she said to her, "Gin is injured by the mountain collapsed and he is dying". Sakura believed her and so left for the Alps.

How did she lose the puppies?
She didn’t – she had to give them away when she became too weak to hunt and produce food for them.

Which manga is it when Gin meets Sakura?
Gin tells the short story of how he met her to Weed in volume 35, just before Weed meets Koyuki.

What happens with Jerome? And where are Chutora and Kurotora?
Chutora is not in the manga, and we assume he died of old age. But Kurotora is still alive. Jerome is still alive, but in 39 is now under captive of Makushimu.

Is Aramu still alive at this point?
Aramu is still alive he is now with Victor hunting the remaining of those who helped Hakuro.

Who killed Hakuro?
Aramu fights Hakuro long, but in the end, it's Victor who "kills" him. Victor gets a firm grip of Hakuro's throut, but Hakuro wrestles free and severs his artery in the process. He dies of blood loss shortly after.

Who is the elder leader of the Kogas?
His name is Chourou, and he was the only one who survived the fire.

Are Victor, Makushimu and Aramu brothers/relatives? And has Makushimu been shot (scar on his head)?
There is no information about his scar.
Information about them:
- They all have the same rank as each other as each are a leader of a platoon.
- Their pack came all the way from Russia and were trained by the soviet to be in the army.
- The reason for the Russian invasion was due to the scarce food in Russia, and the soldier dogs were abandoned when the political policies had been altered.
- Makushimu and Ridia are siblings, their father is the ex grand general.
- Their aim is to capture Hokkaido for themselves.
- Makushimu and Ridia do not approve the killing of females and pups while Victor and Aramu do, but they can not do anything to stop it.
-Victor and Aramu offer the females the chance of staying alive if they kill their male pups themselves and join their pack to have their offspring.

Why did Hakuro not come and help Weed?
Lack of news, and he was too old to swim across the sea.

Who are the puppies in Hakuro’s pack?
They are his grandsons - their father being his son Susaku, and his mate is called Hiromi.

Why did Ridia run away, and why did Akame and the other ninjas stop her? Was she scared of Victor?
Makushimu (brother) had gone to fight Victor, so she was just worried about him.

There’s a dog called Naoki – who is he?
He is just a character from Hokkaido who came to help Hakuro. Victor and his followers kill him.

What was Buruge digging up in volume 41?
From the manga pictures, it looks like water.

When Akame and Victor fight, how did it go?
When Akame saved Jerome he fought Ridia although it was not much of a fight since he knock her out very quickly, so far Akame also fought Makushimu evenly although Akame had the upper hand.

Are Sanda and Lecter really the sons of Sniper?
No, they were only reffered to by Sniper as apprentices.

What is the ranking of Viktor, Bozlef, Alam (a.k.a Aramu), Maxim (a.k.a Makushimu) and Lydia (a.k.a Ridia) in the Soviet Dog Army?
Ridia and Maxim’s father is a Commander.
Victor, Alam, Bozlef and Maxim are Generals.
Ridia has a lower rank of Lieutenant.

Why did Aramu kill Makushimu?
Alam fought Maxime because Alam, Victor and Bozlef were planning to take over Hokkaido for themselves rather than the leader (which I think is Maxime's father).

Maxime has a close relationship with Alam because he saved his life from the human torture, Maxime assumingly ask Alam to help him in return but clearly Victor has the advantage since he has his pack along with Bozlef. After the fight, Maxime was placed in a cave to recover after being wounded by Alam.

When did Buruge die?
Buruge and Mushashi fought Bozlef's platoon while being held captured in the gorge.

Does anyone know whatever happened to the two Husky brothers Hidari and Miki that used to beat up the borzoi brothers when they were puppies?
Hidari and Miki were never mention of again in the manga. The dog that Rocket saw torn apart by Kamakiri was one of the 4-5 regional leaders in which Rocket has a friendly relation with (the deal is the region was ruled by 4-5 separate packs (Rocket's being one of them) in which they help each other protect their territory).

What was Smith’s big secret?
Smith said to Weed when he was about to die, "tell your father, I never meant to betray you. I am always a loyal friend" or something along that line. What it is means is that Smith was in charge of Ou when Sakura disappeared and therefore he left Ou in search of Sakura and never returned. The others assumed that he was so ashamed that he never returned while in actual fact is that he lost his leg while finding Sakura.

What happened to Great?
He is not mentioned in the manga.

What happened to Bozlef?
Bozlef died in volume 47 – Jaguar cracked his head open.

How did Victor die?
Victor and Weed fought on the beach, and Victor thought he would have the upper hand in water. Both Victor and Weed tried to drown each other, but Weed was able to stop his breath longer than him. Victor couldn't believe that a mere stray could be superior to an army dog, and realised that he cannot defeat Weed. He swims underwater, perhaps trying to head back to Russia.
Alam was watching this on shore, and dove in after Victor.
Weed and the Ohu dogs who are good at swimming search for Victor and Alam, but the current at the bottom was too strong for them. As they try to head back, they see somebody's leg. They try their best to get closer without getting carried away by the strong current, and they see Victor and Alam drowned and lifeless.
Alam's jaws were clamped on Victor's hind leg, never letting him go. He had wrapped seaweed on his legs so that they will not be able to swim to the surface of the water.

Did Joo/Joe die?
Joe is alive and he has a son. When Joe was about to get finished off by the monkeys, a human saved him and kept him as a pet.
Joe has a huge scar on his neck, but he looks almost identical to Weed. The difference between the two from the front (you can't see the scar from the front) is Joe's collar, and his eyes are slightly thinner than Weed's. He does not cry (while Weed does) when he and Weed meet, because he said that he had shed all his tears out when he had parted with Saheiji and Yukimura, and because he had heard of his brother's death.
Joe can use the same Battouga attack as Yukimura.

There are two spinoff chapters of GNG in Buisness Jump.
I read the first chapter, and it was about the Kai Brothers when they were puppies. There were 5 brothers in total! The other two were sold, but the three we know didn't get sold so their master/breeder threw them away in the mountains.
I will point out a mistake with Takahashi’s drawing: the marten this time's patterns are wrong because Japanese martens are yellow, but the one in the Gaiden was brown, which looks just like European pine martens.
Chutora is missing part of his ear because the marten had tried to kidnap him.
The second chapter was great because it showed how the Kai brothers survived the wilderness, and eventually defeated their mutual enemy, the marten.
Ben doesn’t play a major role in the story except to pwn the marten – he looks young and thin.

As Jaguar, Musashi, Jerome, Ridia, Tesshin, the Koga dogs, Buruge and the others fought with Bozlef's pack at the other end of the gorge, Gin and some others saw that Viktor's army had been retreating. They ran to the far end to where the howl is thinking that Weed and his reinforcements had arrived only to find that Viktor and his army were waiting to fight.
When the other dogs demanded to know where Weed was, Viktor explained that his dogs had tricked them into their trap by imitating the howls from Weed and pack, also Weed's pack were lost somewhere around in the woods (as the pet dogs were forced by Viktor's dogs to trick them to move to another destination). As Gin's pack hesitated from being cheated, Viktor and his army took advantage of them by attacking them.
While the battle ensued, Teru and his Junior Ninja pals jumped to the end of the gorge to help Tesshin and others who were engaged in a battle against Bozlef. However, they saw that Kyoushiro was in trouble with the Viktor's soldiers so Teru and others had to help him.

At the other side of the gorge, Tesshin and others appeared to be losing the battle with Bozlef's pack. Tesshin was getting exhausted and fed up of waiting for Weed that he hopelessly began to call for Weed's reinforcements to hurry up. Then, Gin had stopped his pack from fighting for a while. He began to howl and concentrated in releasing the battouga.
As the confused Viktor's pack and the Ohu dogs looked on, Gin jumped in the air and had released his Zetsu-Tanrou-Battouga on some of Viktor's soldiers who were about to kill Kyoushiro.

Meanwhile, Ramu the collie (who had helped Jerome earlier in the plot and later brought news to Gin's pack) had brought two badly-injured pet dogs (the ones from Weed's reinforcement) to the country vet.
And after that, Ramu and the injured (those with minor wounds) pet dogs had taken a shelter at his farm to rest. When Ramu was about to fetch some food and water to the pet dogs, Alam and his pack appeared to them.
The pet dogs were about to attack him when Alam stopped them as he had no intention to fight them.

Back to the fighting Ohu dogs, Gin had smacked Viktor's soldiers aside with his battouga got him exhausted just like how Weed gets exhausted from using a battouga. Gin was somehow exhausted because not only he was an old dog, he was also weak like the others from being starved, dehydrated (Viktor, Bozlef and his army who trapped them in the gorge for days) and had not recovered from the wounds from the battle.
Kurotora, Akame and others had to help Gin and retreat to the other end of the gorge only to find that Bozlef and his pack were ready to attack them.
The injured Tesshin tried to stop one of the soldiers but he was grabbed by another soldier by the scruff of his neck and was thrown to the wall where he got knocked out. Musashi, Jerome, Ridia and others were also knocked out in a stampede by Bozlef's soldiers.
Gin's group (Kyoushiro, Kurotora, Akame and others) and Bozlef's pack were about to fight when Viktor called them off with a howl.

Kyoushiro and others rushed to Tesshin's group which they got a huge shock when they saw that Tesshin and others were nearly-dead. Kyoushiro who had the worst shock got an emotional breakdown and cried that he wanted to die for not helping them earlier. Just then, Tesshin and others got up miraculously despite their injuries (Musashi had lost his right eye in a battle), Tesshin told Kyoushiro that he cannot just die by giving up.
Kyoushiro walked over to find that Buruge was dying from his grave injuries. Buruge tried to talk to Kyoushiro about how he spent his time together with him in the Hougen plot (he befriended Kyoushiro even though Kyoushiro was discovered as a traitor by Bat's sense of smell and Buruge had joined the Ohu Army). I do not really know his exact last words but I think that he said to Kyoushiro that he should eat him when he dies (since starving dogs have to do that to their own kind whenever it dies). Within a few seconds Buruge died, Kyoushiro had only ate his fur from the scruff of his neck as he could not bear to eat the flesh of his friend.

At the highway, the humans saw Weed and his reinforcement pack were running and Daisuke began to follow the pack by driving his car.
At the gorge, the dogs had grown weary so they discussed their battle strategies and some of them may avenge the deaths of the fallen soldiers.
As for Weed's and his reinforcement pack, they stopped in the middle of nowhere and they saw that they had gone in the wrong way (way to go...Weed...).
Rocket, Hiro, Weed, GB and Samu the Koga then spotted the two Soviet dogs and began to chase them only to exhaust themselves. Just then, Alam arrived with his pack and killed the two soviet dogs shocking Weed and others.
At the gorge, Viktor, Bozlef and thier pack attacked the Ohu army again for the last time.
Back to Weed, Weed's group were about to continue to make their own way when Alam attacks him which prompted Weed to defend himself by dodging and gave him a kick. Hiro then restrained Alam but Weed asked Hiro to let him go again.

Why were Tesshin and the Koga dogs forced to fight and kidnap Weed to their Koga hideout in the underwater cave where the bald Chourou was?

Chourou was telling Tesshin to kill Weed but of couse Tesshin didn't listen to him. The fact that started the fight was that Weed was so insisted to meet Tesshin to convince him to join.
After Sniper’s encounter with Tesshin, he abandoned Ou refusing to have anything to do with them but at the same time not seeking revenge. But since Weed was so insisted it was kind of like putting oil on fire.

Chapter 1:
It's a lovely day at the beach! Except there are three Russian dogs guarding it. Weed and company are hiding behind some bushes, using the ancient art of Camouflage. Some more Russian dogs appear, and Rocket leads an attack, causing mass destruction.
SUDDENLY….RUSSIAN DOGS FROM BENEATH THE SEA. Yup, Victor leads his group of submarine doggies out from the sea, and onto the beach, where they march up the hill to where Weed and his gang are.
Weed stares on in awe.
Chapter 2:
Words are exchanged, and then Weed tackles Victor, sending them both tumbling back down to the beach. Everyone Else stares on in awe, and then starts attacking.
SUDDENLY…Hooray! It’s Gin, leading Everyone Else! They stop at the hill where Weed and Victor went tumbling down, and watch the battle going on below them. Of course, at this point, they don’t even try to HELP or anything. Weed beats on Victor. Hiro kills a guy. Victor and Weed go running down the beach like you see in commercials for Hawaii.
Weed and Victor square off. Everyone else continues Staring in Awe.
Chapter 3:
WEED VERSUS VICTOR ROUND 3.
Victor is getting beaten up, but won’t go down. Weed starts to get really, really annoyed, and unleashes the Zetsu Tenrou Battouga. It gives Victor a cut on the head, but not much else. Maybe some minor brain damage. Weed leaps forward to attack again, but stumbles, and Victor grabs him by the throat! Oh no! Then comes Rocket, leading the cavalry! Then Maxime shows up, and Victor looks pissed off.
Chapter 4:
Victor still has Weed by the throat, and Gin comes down to the beachfront. Maxime says something, and Victor looks even more annoyed, so he throws Weed off to one side, which revives him. Victor flips out and kills someone. Maxime gets pissed, and attacks Victor, and they spar. The Russian dogs get surrounded, and oh look! It’s Jerome, saying something! Weed gets up, and says something, probably about not killing. Victor gets angry (I sense a trend), and look! There’s Alam! And then he starts crying, which is just plain creepy.
Chapter 5:
Victor launches another attack against Weed. Everyone else stays back on shore while they fight. They pull each other under the water.
Chapter 6:
Gasping for air, they both surface, and Victor fakes being near death – then attacks! Weed flips him, and Victor winds up back on shore along with Weed, who then does ANOTHER Battouga.
Chapter 7:
It hits, and Victor’s head spouts blood, but of course he’s not dead yet. He attacks Weed again, who tosses him off into the water, where he lays, not moving. His Russian buddies surround and protect him. Victor stands again, and Weed’s pack attack the bodyguards. Weed goes swimming after Victor, who chickened out
Chapter 8:
Weed and company go swimming out after Victor, but then along comes Alam. Alam leaps into the water with his crew, and goes after Victor. He grabs Victor by the neck, and pulls him under.

The German Shepherd is Aramu/Alam from GDW. He is in the German Shepherd Arc after the Hougen arc. He is Victor's subordinate and Maxime saved him after the humans tore the skin off his muzzle and were going to murder him.

The other with no muzzle fur is Red Bull *I think*
He is a wolf from GNG, and I can't quite recall how he lost his muzzle fur.

to add further into Havok's answer, the person who ripped Alam's muzzel is a soilder that was on the opposing side of the Russain army although it was not said who was the oppoising side. he is also a handler of a young spy dog that Alam had captured during the war and after letting him go the dog only came back with more soldiers and hence Alam's capture. the young dog was then killed by Alam and so his owner take revenge.

As for Red bull he belong in GNG and there was no mentioning of how he obtained his looks, but we can assumes that it was the wolves doing, possiblily Jiyuga since his brother Noroi is known to have done similar thing to make their 8 warriors more powerful (Noroi ripped off Shuga's leg giving him the weapon for his battouga).this dicussion is to be discuss in the GNG spoiler topic however

I got a question about Smith being mentioned to be in the suicide squard but as far as my memory serves me there were no suicide squard in the GNG ( at least in the anime ) and don't believe Riki would sacrifice his soldiers in such ways ( nor I think Gin would sacrifice his friend ). Is it a mistake in GDW or was Smith really in the suicide squard in GNG? I though he was only a platoon leader.
Sorry if it's the wrong place to post, just been bothering if it's true or not.

the suicide squrd you mention is probably the leading three dogs that were choosen before the Mdara fight. their job is to keep the bears attentions on themselves while the others bring them down, they are also the first unit to attack. the dogs that were choosen were:
1. Gin, Smith(later replace by Hakuro), Akame
2. Benizakura, John, Wilson
3. Kai brothers
4. Mutsu general

Although I have many Weed mangas, I am not very good at Chinese language so I will try my best to answer your questions...

1. Jerome falls and faints because he was very exhausted of his past injuries from fighting against viktor and the troops. And also he was supposed to rest at the farm where Ramu the collie was but he stubbornly had to help Hakuro who was in danger.

2. I really don't know why but GDW manga has more comedic moments than the anime.

3. The group were quite shocked when they saw that Koyuki went over to Weed to nuzzle him and confessed her lovey-dovey feelings to him. Ahhh...young love ehh?

4. Ridia was bashful because she saw Gin approaching to her and Jerome after she was brought to the Ohu Group by Akame from knocking her out for a while while they rescue Jerome.
Ridia also felt that she had to respect such a benevolent leader like Gin since she is in a lower rank in the Russian Dog army (Maxim, Viktor and Alam are generals while she is a lieutenent).

There's also another "muzzle-less" dog in Yamato called Black-Head Sniper. He's a Tosa, and lost the skin on his muzzle during an intense fight.

Here are the updates for GDW. Do note that I haven’t read all the chapters, so I am only writing what I have actually read.

The looks of the bear is still unknown (at least the chapters I have read were), but Joe’s master (forgot his name) calls it “Hybrid”. It’s a hybrid bear born between a Polar Bear and a Black Bear. I think it said that the global warming was the cause.

At the sight of Hybrid, Joe is enraged and without thinking leaps at Hybrid, but gets bashed. He is about to fall off the cliff, but Weed saves him.
Hybrid gets away, and Weed takes Joe to his master, who heals Joe’s wounds.

Weed asks his brother why he hated the bear so much, and Joe told his sad story:
Joe had fallen in love with a stray dog named Hitomi (I think it was Hitomi). He tried several times to convince her to live with him at his master’s house, but Hitomi refuses. She had been treated badly by her master who had thrown her away, so she hates humans. Even when she became pregnant (kids making babies ewwww, but it’s Joe so it’s ok LOL), she still did not come down the mountain.
One day, Joe had a bad hunch, so he rushed to where his mate stayed.
There he saw the mutant bear Hybrid, and he had killed Hitomi and her just-born pups. Hybrid was hungry, and he had caught the scent of the pups being born and attacked to eat them. Joe attacked Hybrid, but was no match for him. Hybrid bashed Joe on the shoulder, which is the scar that is permanently on his back. Joe was barely alive, but found one of the puppies alive.
There were four puppies in total, and wishing for his surviving son to live happily, he named him Koshiro (幸四郎.　幸is “happy” (alright, I dunno the exact word for it; this isn’t the word, but just get my point), and 四 is “four”). (BTW I found out how to read his name today on the news because there was an actor with the same name and kanji LOL)

Hearing Joe’s story, Weed remembers Koyuki and Kotetsu, and goes to look for them. On his way, he finds a badly wounded dog. The dog asks Weed to take him to his comrades who are nearby.
Meanwhile, Koyuki and Kotetsu bump in to a group of stray dogs. (forgot their names)
They told the two how Hybrid had killed their beloved master, and that they are seeking revenge on the bear. They are extremely loyal to their master because he was the only person who didn’t discriminate them for being mutts, not pure breeds.
Kotetsu says that he can ask Weed to muster up his army to kill Hybrid, but the mutts won’t agree. They are still mad about the discrimination they had experienced, and disliked the fact that most of the Top Dogs of the Ohu Army are pure breeds.
The Leader then comes up with a sinister plan. They know that they cannot kill Hybrid on their own, so he will use Koyuki and Kotetsu as a sacrifice, and they will die fighting as well.
If his loved ones get killed, Weed would surely become enraged and kill Hybrid for revenge.
