Edit: Got the link to work. Gin looks odd, sort of midway between beinga puppy and adult.

Looks a little intresting. The Kai-ken looks like Chutora (if you look closley a bit of the right ear is gone). I get a feeling that if it is Chutora this may show his death.

It might be! And it would be more interesting if it were Chutora. I just assumed it was Kurotora before since Yoshi really seems to like him.

It looks like it's a 3-part story (Like the Kai Brothers story was a 2-parter). The pages I posted are the beginning of the 2nd part.

This looks great! But I don't like the way there drawn. Smith looks too much like GB, and Gin looks too much like Weed. Sadly, I don't think he'll ever write about the kogas and igas.

I don't mind the art style, it's not as great as in GNG, but think it's a bit better than in GDW. It's nice they give the ginga series so much attention though^^ hope it'll reviele what happened to Chutora.

Man...I don't like the new look on Smith, he is starting to look like GB with his English setter-like ears instead of the loose droopy ears like he has in GNG manga and early volumes of GDW manga.

Looks interesting but Smith looks too much like GB >.< think most of the chars. don't look like them selves. Chutora looks a bit... Strange too.

Yeah, Smith looks almost exactly like GB except for his coat pattern. And Gin is the same blue-ish color as Weed. x.x I like his original silver/grey color.

Still, I'd love to be able to read it someday.

Finally this age old mystery might be solved; Poor Chu-chan It's not Yoshi's fault that predessors are starting to look like the newer generation. The illustration staff might be helping out and no one's art style stays the same forever.

DNK is right guys; it's been over 20 years since Yoshi first started GNG, and as many other atists on here know, your style is not going to stay the same forever. I do agree, though, that Smith's character design looks weird...
